Found on Yatzer the Book club is situated in the heart of Shoreditch,East London. The Book Club consists of two levels, the ground floor and the underground level. The ground floor has large windows. With these windows the club is connecting the street with what happens inside. It is a way of inviting the people outside to step in.

The interior design was created by Shai Akram and inspired by the interiors from New York's café/bar scene. The Book Club is designed in the Victorian warehouse at the address 100-106 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 4RH. The groundfloor is a place where you can eat, a place where you can drink and a place where you can play ping-pong. In the ping-pong room come very serious players. The ping-pong paddles on the wall invites you to play. The Book Club is where ping-pongers meat is like a ping-pong club.

The underground level consists in the Cloak Room, the Pool Room, the Bar and restrooms. The ceiling in the underground level is covered in ping-pong balls, or what looks like ping-pong balls. If you stay at the table on a chair you feel like you are being photographed. The most interesting part of the design is the brick walls, that give you an after war feeling. The club is open in all seven days of the week, and has many events in various fields including art, music, film, fashion, philosophy, design, science.
