Do you or do you not take a double look at the calories printed on the menu when you go out for a meal? It is easy to estimate your intake with the prominent figures right beside the dishes but what about home cooked food?

Bluescale is the device to rely on in those cases. The digital scale not only displays the weight of the food you want to have as you add the ingredients but also displays the calories involved on your smartphone. This is achieved using special software when your smartphone is synced via bluetooth to the pocket scale. The application makes use of a list of meals to compare the calorie of the food with the weight calculated to inform the user before intake.

Bluescale designed by Ehsan Sayyad is a concept worth to be checking out for.
